Wonderful Wednesday!

Hello Bobcats!
I hope you are having a great day! I challenge you to have a dance party! You can do a freeze dance, having someone pause the music every few seconds and freeze like a statue. You can also follow a just dance video or go noodle video too! Remember if you are looking up a dance video to follow do it with an adult, for your safety! My daughter and I tried a go noodle dance called the Maxarena. Doing this dance we crossed the imaginary line down the middle of our body called the midline. Did you know you could make your brain stronger too?! Crossing the midline promotes coordination and communication of both sides of the brain. It helps your brain grow and develop to complete simple tasks like putting on your socks and shoes! When you are dancing I challenge you to cross the midline of your body! Have a great day!
Miss you tons!

Thankful Thursday!

Thankful Thursday! We took a bit of a different path through our woods the day this picture was taken of Moon.  She stumbled upon Joy!!!  As we looked more closely, we saw beautifully painted rocks that read love, happy, peace scattered on the trail.  What a fun find that made us all smile!   Another thing that I’ve noticed in our neighborhood are really kind chalk messages.  Today, your challenge is to leave something kind for others to see.  We all must continue to stay apart but it’s important to remember that we’re still here for each other and care very much.  So, let’s make someone SMILE from a DISTANCE since right now, it’s the best we can do! As always, stay healthy and stay active!   Smiles, Ms. Emert ❤️

Happy Friday!

Happy Friday Bobcats! You have almost made it through another week of online learning! Great Job! Did you know there are 206 bones in the human body!? Babies have more bones and as they grow their bones fuse together and create the bones we have today! Do you know where the largest bone of your body is located? If you said the femur and pointed to your upper leg you are correct! How about the smallest bone? Yes! The smallest bone is located in your ear! That bone is called the stapes and is located in your middle ear. I challenge you to draw a skeleton and label as many bones as you can! You could also create a skeleton using any household items like the pasta skeleton below. Send us pictures :) Have a great weekend! Try to get outside and enjoy the nice weather! Miss you tons! -Mrs. Ham

Fantastic Friday!

Happy Friday to All! I hope you have had a good first week of online learning! I know it is different but I am sure you did great! Today or this weekend, I challenge you to complete a mini scavenger hunt! Take a walk around your yard and see if you can find these three things; a stick longer than your hand, a flower and a circular rock. Below is a picture of my daughter and I finding flowers. You can send me a picture through seesaw of you finding some of these items! Have a great weekend! Stay active and keep smiling! -Mrs. Ham
