Happy Monday!

Happy Monday Bobcats!
I hope you had a great weekend and are ready for another week of online learning! We will continue to post an extra challenge here on our website each day along with our choice board options. We hope you are accepting some of our challenges throughout the next few weeks. Please make sure you message us on seesaw to show us what you have been up to. We even have a PE folder on seesaw to store your pictures! Today I challenge you to make a fruit or veggie kabob. This can even be made with a mix of fruits and veggies. You can also make a rainbow out of your fruits and veggies without the kabob stick! Fruits and veggies are a healthy snack. If you are looking for something a little sweeter, fruit is the way to go! My favorite fruit is a kiwi! What is yours?
We hope you have a great day!!

Mrs. Ham

Thankful Thursday!

Hello Bobcats! Today is Thankful Thursday! What are you thankful for? I hope you are thinking about making healthy choices! Some of our favorite snacks at my house are apples, bananas and cucumbers. Sometimes for breakfast we make fruit wraps. I learned about these wraps at Camp4Real a few years ago. At my house we use sunflower butter, which is very similar to peanut butter. We use our favorite fruits, sunflower butter and a tortilla wrap. We spread the sunflower butter, add the fruit and roll it up! This gives us food from 3 different food groups! Can you guess which groups? If you said grains, fruits and protein, you are correct! Have you ever made a fruit wrap? What are some of your favorite snacks? I challenge you to create a fruit creation and share it in the comments below. OR you can send me a message through seesaw! Stay Safe & Keep Smiling, Mrs. Ham
