Happy Monday!

Happy Monday!!
I hope you enjoyed your weekend and had a chance to enjoy the beautiful weather! We did a lot of yard work this weekend. We cut down trees and mowed the grass. When doing our yard work we used our upper body muscles a lot! Especially when we used a saw to cut down the smaller trees. I know my biceps and triceps got a great work out! Do you remember where your biceps and triceps are located? I put a picture below to help you remember. I challenge you today to strengthen your biceps and triceps anyway you can! A few simple exercises are; shoulder taps, burpees, push-ups, bear crawl and crab walk! I hope you are ready for another great week of online learning! Remember you can email me or message me on seesaw anytime!
Miss you tons!

Thankful Thursday!

Thankful Thursday! We took a bit of a different path through our woods the day this picture was taken of Moon.  She stumbled upon Joy!!!  As we looked more closely, we saw beautifully painted rocks that read love, happy, peace scattered on the trail.  What a fun find that made us all smile!   Another thing that I’ve noticed in our neighborhood are really kind chalk messages.  Today, your challenge is to leave something kind for others to see.  We all must continue to stay apart but it’s important to remember that we’re still here for each other and care very much.  So, let’s make someone SMILE from a DISTANCE since right now, it’s the best we can do! As always, stay healthy and stay active!   Smiles, Ms. Emert ❤️

Happy Friday!

Happy Friday Bobcats! You have almost made it through another week of online learning! Great Job! Did you know there are 206 bones in the human body!? Babies have more bones and as they grow their bones fuse together and create the bones we have today! Do you know where the largest bone of your body is located? If you said the femur and pointed to your upper leg you are correct! How about the smallest bone? Yes! The smallest bone is located in your ear! That bone is called the stapes and is located in your middle ear. I challenge you to draw a skeleton and label as many bones as you can! You could also create a skeleton using any household items like the pasta skeleton below. Send us pictures :) Have a great weekend! Try to get outside and enjoy the nice weather! Miss you tons! -Mrs. Ham

Fantastic Final Friday!

Happy Friday Bobcats! You made it! We have come to the end of our online learning for the year! We are so proud of all you have accomplished while we were in and out of school. We have had so much fun watching you grow throughout the year! What was your favorite activity or game during our PE time? Mrs. Emert and I would have to agree that Battleships is one of our favorite games! We hope you stay active and make good choices throughout the summer! Remember to be kind, have fun and enjoy each day with a smile!                                                                       Love Always,                                                               Mrs. Em...
